NOTE :
Leonor was betrothed during infancy (Nov, 1311) to the Infante James of Aragon (1296 - 1334), the eldest son of James II of Aragon
she was sent o be raised at the Aragonese court. However James repudiated this marriage so that he could become a monk and abdicated his rights to the throne
Leonor returned to the Castilian court until her subsequent marriage with Alfonso IV
